We are all obliged to bring to the future generations the rich natural environment and the secure global environment and to work for conservation and improvement of global environment through reduction of environmental load by saving the limited resources and energy. SMT addresses the environment as an important issue and has been working on maintenance and improvement of global environment.

1.		We work to reduce the environmental load at all stages of bearing development, design, materials procurement, production and sale.
2.		We establish specific goals and targets for environmental load reduction and pollution prevention, and work on continuous improvement of them together with our business partners.
3.		We comply with laws, regulations, and in-house rules related to the environment.
4.		We assure that the management system is documented in a specific and simple manner and is executed.
5.		It should be easy to set the next goal and target under the management system and its contents should be easily understandable for employees.
6.		We endeavor to generate concern for the natural environment among employees so that they will understand the significance of the management system.
7.		We disclose information related to the environment swiftly whenever requested.
